Cllr Mike Collier

I have lived in Tadley for 46 years. I worked at Richardson’s and Rabbet’s newsagents (now a fish & chip shop) in Franklin Ave, then as a local milkman for 22 years and then for South West Trains for 6 years. My two children were educated in Tadley and still live here. My wife passed away in 2004 after I nursed her for a year by myself.
In 2005 I suffered a massive stroke, spending some 6 and a half months in hospital at Basingstoke and then Alton. During that time I lost my speech, the use of my legs and right hand side. I feel fit and able now but am still unable to walk backwards and I am not allowed to fly. I now have a wonderful partner Maureen and life is starting again.
